IFC Takes Violent Drama ‘Snowtown’
While our people pegged this as a serious drama, we’re told Justin Kurzel’s Snowtown is incredibly violent and grizzly.
It was announced today that IFC Midnight is taking all North American rights to Kurzel’s feature debut, produced by the new Warp Films Australia.
The story, based on an actual case, is “about a teenage boy who falls under the spell of a father figure who turns out to be a serial killer.”
Doing some digging we uncovered a trailer, poster and stills from the dramatic thriller. No date has been set and IFC has yet to reveal if they have any theatrical intentions.
