[News Bites] TV Edition: A New Character For “American Horror Story” And A New Start For “Dexter”

Dexter

Wherein I give you two updates that were too small to warrant their own posts. First off? The Seventh Season of “Dexter” now has the air-date of September 30th at 9pm ET/PT. Will his sister Deborah still be in love with him now that she knows he’s a serial killer? OMG that show seems to have gone nuts (I didn’t catch Season Six – let me know if it’s as crazy as it sounds in the comments).

Secondly. There’s a new character coming to “American Horror Story”. And she earns the “double Angelina Jolie reference” award. Per TV Line, “The series regular character, Gia, is described as a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret — “think Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted,” reads the casting notice.

Seems like they definitely have a specific image in mind.
