News Bites Cannes Edition: Sales Art for ‘Revenant,’ ‘Liars All,’ ‘DeadHeads’ and ‘Rogue River’

With Cannes kicking off this week there’s been a truck load of new sales posters and trailers littered onto the web. Waking up this morning to a handful of fresh look, we’ve consolidated some of it into this one post. (There’s plenty more where this came from.)

Below you’ll find sales art for all of the following: The Revenant, the long-shelved vampire film that’s being sold by Lightning Entertanment; Liars All, the new triller starring Sara Paxton (The Innkeepers, Shark Night 3D); DeadHeads, a zombie flick that’s said to be “A Road trip movie to die for“; Lastly, inside you’ll also find the art and sales trailer for Jourdan McClure’s Rogue River, the horror flick starring Bill Moseley that premiered at last October’s Screamfest Horror Film Festival.

Inside you’ll also find trailers for all films, sans Liar’s All.

ROGUE RIVER:Struggling with the recent death of her father, Mara sets off on a solitary journey to Oregon’s Rogue River to scatter his remains. When Mara’s car gets towed, she accepts a ride from Jon Wall, an affable redneck type, mourning the death of his young daughter. A quick detour leads them to Jon’s beautiful cabin deep in the woods where his wife Lea quickly captivates Mara as they find solace in the shared grief of their own personal tragedies. But all is not as it seems on the picturesque Rogue River. Mara’s world soon devolves into a harrowing nightmare as she fights for survival in the dark and violent world of Jon and Lea. A nightmare shockingly unfolds into a spine-tingling crescendo of terror that will drag Mara into the most twisted recesses of the human psyche…

DEADHEADS:Two inexplicably coherent zombies awake amidst a zombie attack and decide to take a road trip to find the one’s lost love, unaware they are being chased by the agents of a ruthless company with it’s own agenda.” Tons more on Facebook.

THE REVENANT:This breakout horror comedy centers around a fallen soldier who somehow finds he has joined the ranks of the living dead. Bart Gregory (Anders) has just recently been laid to rest – so why is he still up and walking around? The only person Bart can turn to for answers is his best friend Joey (Wylde), and before long the two pals have surmised that the blood is the life. In order to survive, Bart requires a steady supply of it. Convinced that no one will miss the drug dealers and killers who have transformed LA into a swirling cesspool of crime and vice, the two friends decide to do law enforcement a favor by cleaning up the streets while collecting the precious blood needed to keep poor Bart from withering away into dust!

LIARS ALL:The story of a group of friends celebrating New Year’s Eve in London by playing a provocative game that ultimately gets terribly out of control.
