Focus Features has released the full boney trailer for their animated horror comedy ParaNorman, which finally reveals the film’s villain: the ghost of an evil witch who will raise the dead! Watch the entirely new trailer inside and tell us, does this look as good as Monster House to you, too?

In ParaNorman, “a small town comes under siege by zombies. Who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee), who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he’ll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst of all, grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. Following LAIKA and Focus’ groundbreaking Academy Award-nominated animated feature Coraline, ParaNorman is only the second stop-motion animated feature to be made in 3D. It’ll hitting theaters Friday, August 17th, 2012.
