Creep 2 (2017)
7?
I find it hard to rate this one. It's great in ways but there's scene that imo ruins the whole movie.
Also, in a way this would've made a better part 1. But only without the ruining scene.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

"In the beginning our main characters says "Ever since I turned 40..." When the real story starts, our main character says he's turning 40. This totally ruined the finale. I couldn't get it out of my mind. Without that scene I thought he might actually die."

Thor: Ragnarok - 4.5/5

Easily the best Thor movie and one of Marvels best. Bringing in someone like Taika Waititi to direct was a stroke of genius. His style is all over this and, it's laugh out loud hilarious. I saw this in a packed theater and the entire audience was in hysterics. The cast is great, especially Jeff Goldblum, but Cate Blanchett is kind of a stock standard villain.

Between this, Guardians and Spiderman, Marvel has had a great year.

The Snowman - They took a fantastic character and book and bastardized it into generic, predictable Hollywood averageness. And they didn't even bother to pronounce the main character's name correctly. - 6/10

Jigsaw, 2017 - 8.5/10

OMG! Hear me out, perhaps I'm a little bias because I'm the biggest Saw fan I know but to be fair I was worried. Super worried. I expressed my unease earlier this year after seeing the trailer because it felt like it was trying to pander to a different crowd (music that didn't match the franchise, some humor thrown in the mix). Well guess what..

This movie is 100% a Saw movie, and it's wonderful. It suffers the same general problems the sequels have (but I was HOPING that would be the case). It fits in the franchise like a hand in a glove, and is in my opinion this year's best Horror franchise sequel. Loved it. If you loved the sequels like I did, then you should also love this. If you didn't love the Saw sequels, well fuck you anyways!
