But my favorite game is Dragon Quest IX for Nintendo DSi.
Dragon Quest IX is really good, I agree. However, Dragon Quest VIII is also really good and was (I believe) a PS2 exclusive.

I got some kind of weakness for games that were very good but unsuccessful, what is leading me into grief of never seeing a sequel. Luckily most of these games now got a sequel announcement. These are:

Psychonauts
Shenmue 1+2
Beyond Good & Evil
Jet Set Radio Future
Brütal Legend

And I have to add Fable: The Lost Chapters to the list, even if it got sequels, they were sadly never as good as the original.

EDIT: Gotta add The Little Big Adventure 2 and Monkey Island 3 to my favorites.

Lakeview Cabin Collection - last time I checked it was under ten dollars on Steam. There are six horror games in one. It starts on a city street outside a movie theater, the hub stage, which is playable (monster in the sewer). Once inside the theater you will see the movies, Lakeview Cabin parts three through six. Each is based off a horror classic (in style, not specifics, no copyright violations). Three is based off Friday the 13th, Four is based off Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Five is based off Halloween, Six is based off The Thing and Aliens, and Two is unlocked as a prequel episode. If you like hard games, you will have fun figuring them out. If you like easy games, you can read the walk-through guides online and have fun. There's a lot of sex and gore in this game, and the minimalist (but still pretty) graphics make it playable on most any computer. I don't enjoy puzzling over hard games, so I watched YouTube walk-through videos to learn its secrets, and I replay this game often. Note, the developer is mainly a Steam person, so make sure to download it from Steam to get the entire game and all of the extras. If you get it from someplace else, even through a legit purchase, it might be missing things. This issue will hopefully be remedied soon.

I also used to play these games. After I had a baby, I stopped playing such brutal games. But I wanted to play computer games and I found a way out. On http://www.friv1000games.org/ I can play anything without spending a lot of time on it. They are kind, have good graphics and an easy story
