Forget the big studio movies, this week’s Horror In Your House features a laundry list of indie features that range for the long-delayed and highly anticipated Header (redefining skull-f*cking) to another Genius maneater film, Sea Beast. BLACK TORMENT: Redemption USA

This genuinely disturbing ’60s horror-mystery movie from director Robert Hartford-Davis is hailed as a British gothic masterpiece. The film follows Sir John Fordyce, a nobleman who returns after a long absence to his country estate with a new bride. However, his honeymoon is quickly cut short when he finds himself under suspicion from angry locals for the rape and brutal murder of a young village girl. Despite Sir John’s professed innocence, a growing hysteria unfolds as more strange events occur around him…

FEAR GIRLS: VOLUME 2

Here they come again. They’re back by popular demand. The second installment of this sexy yet scary series from the demented minds at Fear Film Motion Picture Studios. Again, featuring the hottest ladies of horror! Sexy, naked, bodies with blood and gore. What more can anyone ask for. Volume Two features three vignettes and sexy stripteases that include an ancient vampire that lives in an old mirror, a pool game that turns deadly, and a woman that witnesses a murder… or does she?

Only redneck Travis Tuckton and his evil grandpappy knows for sure… and once YOU learn the shocking answer, you may never be the same.

TEX SAYS: Might not be a great film…but it’s probably the sickest film you’ve seen in a while…with some scenes that will definitely have you talking.

HIDE: MTI

A modern day Bonnie and Clyde – with a twist – that follows two lovers down a path of destruction, mayhem, and murder as they live in a world where it is acceptable to take whatever they want with murderous consequences.

HIDDEN FLOOR: Pathfinder

A mother and her six year old girl move into a new building. A tenant who lives below her complains about noises coming from her apartment. Even though she lives very quietly. Still, the complaints of noise continue. But, the mother soon realizes everyone in the building acts bizarre to the point of being scary. Soon, the six year old girl begins acting like the other tenants. Then, mysterious deaths begin to occur in the building. The mother must solve this mystery of these deaths and strange behavior before it’s too late.

KAIDAN: Lionsgate

From the legendary director of RINGU and THE RING TWO comes this eerie tale of ghostly vengeance. The unwitting victim of a terrible curse, a young man accidentally injures his wife, a jealous teacher who soon dies from her wound. Running away with one of her students, he fails to heed the dead woman’s warning that if he remarries, she’ll haunt him to the grave. And now for an unfaithful husband, the real terror is about to begin.

MONSTER X STRIKES BACK: Tokyo Shock/Media Blasters

In 2008, the G8 summit is being held at Lake Toya near a volcano in Hokkaido. While the world leaders are meeting there, a Chinese rocket causes the monstrous Girara to be born. Those in charge of the G8 nations, in an effort to improve the standing of their governments, implement individual plans to destroy the monster, all of which end in failure. As the leaders continue their posturing, two journalists stumble across a cult and a mysterious idol by the lake. Could that discovery be the key to dealing with the problem of Girara?

MY BLOODY ROOMATES: Pathfinder

An all girls school for troubled teens. Four roommates must get along or deal with the consequences. One girl doesn’t know if she’s going crazy or having visions of the school burning to the ground. Her roommates are scared of her but want to help her. When these visions get out of control, the girls no longer care about exams, discipline or detention; they’re just concerned about their lives.

PREY: Redemption USA

The lives of two lesbians, Jessica and Josephine, living in a deserted English farmhouse is thrown into turmoil upon the arrival of strange man called Anderson (Barry Stokes), who, unknown to them, is an alien scout on a mission to find food on Earth. Able to transform his appearance to that of a perfectly coifed human man, the alien brings tension to the the girls’ relationship as Jessica starts to find him attractive. Much morbid excitement follows as Anderson’s animalistic behavior leads to their downfall…

SCREAM: Shriek Show/Media Blasters

A group of people on a rafting excursion happen upon a deserted town and decide to set up camp. Out of the blue, a murder occurs. It appears that the town is not as deserted as they thought. Someone is out there and doesn’t want them around. They desperately try to escape but their rafts are destroyed. What possible hope of survival can they have with no escape and no one around to help?

SEA BEAST: Genius

In the fishing village of Cedar Bay, terror lies within the water. And now it has surfaced in search of something more substantial to devour than marine life: human flesh. A captain and a sea biologist must wage a terrifying battle against the deadly creatures in order to save mankind from total extinction.

SECOND COMING: Polychrome/Vivendi

Lora and Ashley have always shared a special bond; as twin sisters, when one feels pain, sorrow, or happiness, the other feels it too. While Lora left the small town that haunted their childhood, her sister Ashley choose to stay. Years later, Lora begins receiving chilling visions from Ashley, she knows something sinister is at play. Lora now knows she must return to her hometown and deal with the ghosts of her past in order to find Ashley, before it’s too late.

WOMEN IN PRISON TRIPLE FEATURE: THE HOT BOX, ESCAPE FROM HELL, and WOMEN IN CELL BLOCK 7

Half-dressed vixens in steaming jungles, sadistic jailors, and hot n heavy girl-on-girl action… What s more fun than women-in-prison movies: kind of like The Playboy Channel meets Silence of the Lambs. Check out this triple treat of nasty, naughty, Golden Age WIPs, stuffed to the gills with sadistic tortures and heaving, sweaty dream girls.

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
