“Outlandish” ‘Piranha 3DD’ Wraps Production

Published

A new article appeared over at Star News that spotlight’s Piranha 3DD producer Joel Soisson, and reveals that production has already wrapped May 27 at the Shaw-Speaks Community Center in the midst of a muggy heat wave. That was quick…

And while most of the article is just a bunch of hot air, Soisson explains that the John Gulagar directed sequel “is so outlandish in places…I hope it works because it really pushes all the boundaries slightly pushed in the first one.

Reteaming Gulager with Feast writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, I expect Piranha 3DD to be outlandish times infinity. Casting David Hasselhoff and Gary Busey is a start, while moving the bloody madness to the Big Wet Water Park is the icing on the cake. I expect this to be way more fun than Alex Aja’s remake. Blood, blood and mayhem on November 23.
