Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release [REC] 2 (review), the horrifying sequel to the international smash hit that inspired the film Quarantine, on DVD July 12, 2011.
After terrifying audiences with their nerve-shredding cult hit [REC], acclaimed filmmaker Jaume Balagueró (Darkness; Fragile) and writer/filmmaker Paco Plaza (Quarantine, Romasanta: The Werewolf Hunter) return to crank the fear factor to unprecedented levels in [REC] 2, a rare sequel that actually improves on its predecessor and exceeds all expectations.
Available for $26.99, the [REC] 2 DVD will include deleted and extended scenes, behind the scenes featurettes, a walkthrough of the set, as well as REC 2 on Tour and Sitges Film Festival featurettes.
