Infected Violence in Second ‘Rabies’ Poster’
It was just announced out of Cannes that Image Entertainment has snapped up U.S. rights to Israeli horror film Rabies (review) from XYZ Films. Mongrel Media also nabbed Canadian rights to the pic, which is the directorial debut of Navot Papushado and Aharon Keshales, who also penned the script. The deal includes a theatrical release.
Rabies, produced by United Channels Movies, “follows a group of teens at a deserted nature reserve drawn into a whirlwind of misunderstandings and violence.” It toplines Lior Ashkenazi and Ania Bukstein.
The pic premiered in competition at Tribeca last month in the Cinemania section, check out a second domestic poster inside.

A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.
Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.

Mind Body Spirit was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda.
The upcoming horror film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, and Kristi Noory, and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung.
