Yeah, Steiner had great athleticism early in his career and a strong amateur wrestling background. Juiced up Steiner made his career though, his ridiculous personality wouldn't work if he didn't look the way he does. I've seen him a few times live and he was always entertaining just swearing and doing push ups . When the diva search girl ran up to him during a match and forgot her spot he shouts my favorite line " Are you here to suck my dick bitch or what?"

Surely guys like him must be scared that their hearts will just pack out? Everyone around them has died. Maybe when you are super rich you can take care of it.

One of the great indirect side effects of Steiner's increased 'roid intake is that it turned him into my favorite modern mathematician.

Just watched some original Sheik matches from 1960s Detroit wrestling. It's so enjoyable because the crowds are just going fucking bonkers. In one match his opponent is stumbling around the crowd all bloody and confused while horrified women are getting their eyes covered from their husbands  They also rioted a couple of times as well

 Can you imagine what it would have been like watching this stuff back then thinking it was real like they did? The heat those old timers got all the way through the 80s was ridiculous!

Yeah, it made wrestling so much easier as well, the crowd were genuinely behind the face and simple things like reversing a collar and elbow tie up got a bigger pop than the ring exploding on Raw

About 3/4 through Omega's NJPW run now. Never want him to leave. Best moveset/look, and his mini promos on the way to the ring have done a shockingly good job of building his persona. I love this character (similar to AJ in a way) about being the best performer in wrestling who loved Japan and gave everything to them, didn't get accepted, only to turn his back on them when the love did come. Another who can adapt his style to everyone and get over effortlessly with his confidence and ability.

So you're not only gonna do a mystery partner spot for a heel, but kill the crowd by having him break up a table spot. The Sister Abigail on the curtains (?) looked pathetic.

Why didn't Jericho come help?

That's a terrible finisher. Not impressive in the least.
