Does the Trailer for ‘Fright Night 3D’ Bite?

Published

on

Inside you’ll find the first official trailer for DreamWorks’ Fright Night 3D redo from director Craig Gillespie.

Most of the footage makes me want to take this Friday the 13th and enjoy the original classic from Tom Holland, while there are some things that intrigue me. Mostly, I’m curious as to how well the battle between Carlie (played by Anton Yelchin) and Jerry (Colin Farrell) will play out. As for scares, I think we’re in for a slew of “jumps” as the hand to the glass indicates (blah!) Sh*t, I may just watch Distrubia again instead….

Charlie Brewster is a high school senior who’s on top of the world–that is until Jerry moves in next door and Charlie discovers that he is a vampire preying on the neighborhood.

Fright Night stalks into theaters August 19. Tell us what you think of the trailer.
