TV: Pam, Lafayette and Tera Standoff in ‘True Blood’ Clip
Another “waiting sucks” clip has been posted on HBO’s official website for their vampire drama “True Blood”, which premieres June 26. Previously you’ve seen a tied up Ryan Kwanten as Jason Stackhous, a shirtless Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), and Sam Trammell with the first appearance of Janina Gavankar as Luna. This morning we’ve got a standoff between Pam, Lafayette and Tera.
Daniel Buran, Dane DeHaan, Rebecca Wisocky, Janina Gavankar (“The Gates”), Alexandra Breckenridge (“Dirt,” “Life Unexpected”), Vedette Lim (“As the World Turns”), Christina Moore, Neil Hopkins (“Lost”), and Chris Butler (“The Good Wife”) all join the old cast. Set in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a waitress, discovers a new world of creatures when she falls in love with Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a vampire.
“As Eric’s offspring and primary aide, Pam knows how to advance her maker’s agendas (while pulling off one hell of a skirt/sweater combo). Beneath this vampire’s polished demeanor, however, lies the lethal instinct that has made her an asset to someone as ruthless as Eric.”
