My era was the Tom Baker era, and storylines such as 'The Talons of Weng Chiang' and 'The Horror of Fang Rock' though very much part of the H.G Wells style of British Sci-Fi, were also redolent with Hammer trappings and as a child certainly fueled my interest in such...
