‘Wolf Creek 2’ Takes Aim On Home Video

Image Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment brand, brings you the much-anticipated sequel Wolf Creek 2 (read our review) on DVD and Blu-ray June 24, 2014.

Directed by Greg McLean (Wolf Creek, Rogue), the film stars John Jarratt (Wolf Creek, Django Unchained), Ryan Corr (Not Suitable for Children), Shannon Ashlyn (Il Taglialegna) and Philippe Klaus (Mercy), “Lured by the promise of an Australian holiday, exchange student Paul visits the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. His dream Outback adventure soon becomes a horrific reality when he encounters the site’s most infamous local, Mick Taylor (John Jarratt). When Paul attempts to flee, Mick pursues him across a hostile wasteland and eventually drags him back to his underground lair. After seeing the true magnitude of Mick’s monstrosity, Paul’s only hope of surviving, where no one has before, will be to use every ounce of cunning to outwit the man behind the monster.

      i’m gonna agree that its not in the same ballpark in regards to the first film.. To me the buildup in the original film and the well done development of the three characters who were to be brutualy tortured and killed by Mick Taylor made the the difference…
      The sequel lacks in character development but upped the ante on action and mayhem.. I personally could have done without the long drawn out car chase (i hate that shit) but overall it was entertaining but lacking the depth of the first film…
