‘The Evil in Us’ Trailer Showcases Cannibalistic Side Effects

RLJ Entertainment’s The Evil in Us, written and directed by Jason William Lee, has many side effects that include insomnia, rage, and cannibalism. The film starring Ian Collins (CW’s “Supernatural”) and Kylee Bush (Nightwing: Prodigal) will be available on DVD on July 4, 2017 exclusively at Walmart.

“In THE EVIL IN US, six school friends meet up for a Fourth of July celebration on a remote island off the Washington coast for a weekend of fun and partying. But the good times quickly turn into a nightmare when they unknowingly take a new bio-active drug containing a virus that causes fits of psychotic rage. Only one girl, Brie (Bush), doesn’t take the drug and she alone must fight to stay alive as her friends slowly turn into bloodthirsty cannibals. Trapped on the island, Brie must endure the unimaginable in a desperate battle for survival.”

The film premiered at FrightFest London 2016.

It’s a decent enough little movie this one.
Not the greatest, but on the budget etc, it did a pretty good job.

Hmm, bath salts, anyone? Sometimes I like a good paint-by-numbers movie about kids doing drugs and morphing into cannibals.

Necro, keep expectations low/reasonable with this one. it’s not very good IMO but we all like different things. 🙂

Ok thanks for the heads up J! Yeah I go into just about everything with low expectations, well most of the time anyway. I’ve put so many new movies this year on my ‘wanna see list’ that I’d be lying to myself if I thought they’re all going to be good. Its taken some practice on my end but I think I have it down to not get overly excited by a trailer, good reviews, and other fans’ opinions. I think we’ve all been let down more than a few times. The biggest bitch is that it’s so easy to jump on that ‘this is going to be awesome without seeing a minute of it’ bandwagon.
