‘Dawn of the Dead’ Remake Headed to Scream Factory Blu-ray!

Published

on

Scream Factory is making this Halloween season one of the best ever.

Just yesterday, Scream Factory announced that they’re bringing George Romero’s Land of the Dead to Blu-ray on October 24th, but that’s not the only treat they have in store for us on that day. We’ve just learned that on the very same day, Zack Snyder’s exceptional 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead is also getting the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray treatment!

Full bonus features and specs will be announced sometime in September but Scream has confirmed today that this will be a 2-disc set and will sport new extras (including interviews with Ty Burrell, James Gunn, Jake Webber, David Anderson & Heather Langenkamp Anderson) plus the theatrical and unrated versions of the film.

Check out Nathaniel Marsh’s newly commissioned cover art below!

In Dawn of the Dead

The world is in danger when a mysterious virus turns people into mindless, flesh-eating zombies. In a mall in the heartland, a handful of survivors wage a desperate, last-stand battle to stay alive … and human!

The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
