New to Blu-ray

Each week here at Bloody Disgusting we like to highlight some of the new Blu-ray releases hitting shelves across the world. Please note that this isn’t every release for the week, just a few of the ones that jumped out at us.

Welcome to another week of Blu-ray releases! The big one this week is of course Alien: Covenant. The film received mixed responses from many, but it’s sure to be a popular pickup for those looking to make sure their Alien Blu-ray set is complete. If you’re looking for something a little older Shout Factory has you covered with Missing In Action. The release I have been dying to get my hands on though has to be Kino Lorber’s The Good, the Bad and The Ugly. Not the first Blu-ray release of the film, and likely not the last, but I’m eager to see what Kino Lorber was able to do with it. Happy collecting!

Meanwhile, girl-next-door Betty Cooper is not ready to reveal her true feelings for Archie, and new student, Veronica Lodge, has an undeniable spark with her crush. And then there’s Cheryl Blossom, Riverdale’s Queen Bee, who stirs up trouble amongst Archie, Betty and Veronica. But is Cheryl hiding something about the mysterious death of her twin brother, Jason?
