Scream Factory Announces 1983 Rat Attack Film ‘Of Unknown Origin’
Rats vs. Peter Weller. Enough said.
Experience a home invasion tale you’ll never forget when the 1983 thriller Of Unknown Origin comes scurrying to Blu-ray for the first time this Spring, via Scream Factory.
“When not mired in the corporate rat race, Wall Street executive Bart Hughes is king of his sleek Manhattan brownstone … until he finds his castle under siege by the most determined of home intruders. Forced to enter a rat race of an entirely different sort, Bart takes a stand, with his survival and sanity at stake.”
Of Unknown Origin stars Peter Weller (RoboCop) and was directed by George P. Cosmatos (Tombstone, Cobra).
Extras are in progress and will be announced at a later date.
Look for this one on May 22.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
