IFC Films has bought North American rights to the TrustNordisk title The Salvation, which premiered in the out of competition Midnight section of Cannes, Deadline reports.
A couple distributors chased the film, which stars “Hannibal” fav Mads Mikkelsen, Eva Green and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Kristian Levring directed the Western set in 1870s America, which starts “when a settler kills the man that murdered his family. That unleashes the fury of a notorious gang leader. Then it’s a fight to the death.”
