I Have No Idea What it is I’m Looking At, But I Like it

Of all the horror art I’ve featured here over the last few years, this may be the strangest. It’s the work of Alejandro D’Marco, an artist based in Argentina. His work is dark and surreal — it reminds me of every time I’ve woken up from a weird or nightmarish dream only to gradually forget what it was that woke me. His work is like the ghost of that dream or nightmare, and I find it strangely delightful.

For more of Alejandro’s work, check out his gallery.

“Eternal Nights” and “Night Walker” totally remind me of Stephen Gammell’s work featured in the Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark series.
