Get Ready for Halloween with These Incredible Horror High Heels

Published

on

As glorious and meaty as my calves are, I don’t think I could pull off a pair of high heels. I don’t think it would flatter my ass and I’m sure I’d get blisters in mere seconds. However, I’m pretty sure there are some of you out there who would rock a pair of pumps, especially if they had a fun horror twist to them, right?

Well, that’s where the Etsy shop Steamhatter comes into play! Run by Kali Dragonslayer, the shop features a ton of incredible horror-themed high heels, as well as a few gruesome purses. I’ve created a gallery below of several examples that I think really stand out and would be perfect for putting the final touch on your Halloween costume!

For instance, there’s a pair that are inspired by Silent Hill, which is already a winner in my book. Or how about the set that look like they’re covered in eyes? And if you want to pull of a sexy zombie, there are plenty of shoes just waiting for you!

If you want to pick up your own set, just click on the link above and peruse at your own delight! You can also follow Kali’s work at her Facebook page Sole Candy.

First Photos from ‘Halloween’ Reveal Badass Laurie Strode and Terrifying Michael Myers

Published

on

We’ve been promised that the trailer for this year’s Halloween is headed our way this Friday, and we cannot wait. In the meantime, USA Today scored some first look images from the film tonight, giving us our first official shots of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and our new, yet much older than before, Michael Myers!

The site also detailed the plot a bit more…

“A British documentary crew comes to the States to visit Michael in prison for a retrospective of the maniac’s night of terror — but their project becomes way more interesting when Myers escapes custody, retrieves his signature mask and seeks revenge on Laurie, with others naturally being part of his impressive career body count along the way.

In the decades following the fateful Halloween night that forever altered the former babysitter’s life, Laurie has armed and prepped herself for Michael’s inevitable return — to the detriment of her family, including daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak).”

In the film, directed by David Gordon Green and co-written by Danny McBride

“Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.”

Judy Greer plays Karen Strode, Laurie’s daughter, while Andi Matichak landed the coveted role of the film’s young lead (daughter to Greer and granddaughter to Curtis).

Nick Castle will return to the role of Michael Myers, while stunt performer and actor James Jude Courtney has also been cast to play Myers.

The cast also includes Virginia “Ginny” Gardner (Project Almanac, Marvel’s “Runaways”), Miles Robbins (Mozart in the Jungle, My Friend Dahmer), Dylan Arnold (Mudbound, Laggies, When We Rise), and Drew Scheid (“Stranger Things”, The War with Grandpa). They will be playing the friends of Matichak’s Allyson.

Michael returns to Haddonfield on October 19, 2018.
