Horror Artist Finds Beauty in Beasts

I try to keep some variety in the art I feature here, but lately, there’s been a lot of monsters. What can I say, I like monsters. When I was much younger, I spent way too much class time doodling my own designs, then I’d go home and play Silent Hill for hours. If I had kept it up and never discovered the joys of writing, I’d probably have a gallery similar to today’s featured artist, Aaron Nakahara, only my stuff wouldn’t be nearly this good.

It’s mostly original work, but I had to include the Jaws, Hellraiser and Aliens fan art, because it was too good not to share. Enjoy!

For more of Aaron’s work, check out his gallery.

Is that Jaws, or is it the Jaws ripoff: Great White by Enzo G. Castellari?

    • Daniel Anderson

It was a total ripoff. Not to mention it was HORRIBLE in comparison. Its definitely one of those “So bad lets get drunk before watching it” types of movies.

The fear that shark picture invokes in me . . . ugh. Shudder.

Ugh, that spider woman. There is something that really gets under my skin about a grotesque creature with human lady type breasts.
