Screen Daily reports that Antony I Ginnane, producer of both the 1978 Patrick and its remake, Patrick: Evil Awakens, is planning to redo two more of his films: the 1979 Thirst, pictured, and The Survivor from 1981.
Ginnane has credits as either producer or executive producer on 64 films.
In the Rod Hardy-directed Thirst, Elizabeth Bathory is abducted by a cult of self-proclaimed supermen who achieve this state of superiority by drinking from the “blood cows” kept at the “dairy farm”, and they try to get her to join them.
David Hemmings directed The Savior, which begins when a plane crashes just after takeoff and the only survivor is the pilot who walks out of the wreckage. He doesn’t remember the explosion or the crash, but 300 passengers & crew are dead. As the investigation goes on people are wanting answers.
Here’s trailer for both.
