Escape The Fate’s TJ Bell Shares His Favorite Things About Halloween

Published

on

The love of Halloween is something shared by pretty much everyone. From children to adults, men and women, horror fans to people who are scared of their own shadows, this holiday brings out something in each one of us, the opportunity to be something we usually aren’t. That’s why we’ve teamed up with metal band Escape the Fate to give a chance for each member to share what it is they exactly love about the holiday.

First up is rhythm guitarist TJ Bell, who not only enjoys movies, spiced beverages, and costumes, but also the change of scenery as well (sorry to everyone in a place where that doesn’t happen but you’re definitely missing out). Check out his thoughts below.

Make sure to pre-order your copy of Hate Me via Districtlines.

TJ Bell on Halloween:

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year! The changing of scenery has to be one of my favorite things about this holiday. The leaves are changing into beautiful reds and yellows, the cool brisk air is creeping in, and everyone’s houses are covered with their own personalized spooky decor. We currently have our bus decked out in spider webs, hanging skeletons, black lights and got back to back horror movies all day and night!

But with the change of the fall season comes a change in the Starbucks menu which of course means…PUMPKIN SPICED LATTES BITCH!  But of course the best part about Halloween is dressing up in costume! My favorite costume had to be two years ago when my girlfriend and I were Sid & Nancy! It was so spot on I had the leather jacket with no shirt, hair spiked out and even covered all of my tattoos and had “Nancy” razored into my chest with special affects. I think my least favorite costume has to be when we played a Halloween show in London and was in a hotdog suit with a Lady Gaga mask. Kevin was in a vodka bottle with a Borat mask, Craig as a beer bottle with a Russell Brand face and Robert as Michael Jackson from the “Thriller” video. Our costumes made absolutely no sense but we had the best time ever! We are looking forward to stepping up our costume game for our Halloween show in Poughkeepsie, New York!

Daniel Roebuck has been cast as Santa Claus in Terrifier 3, Bloody Disgusting can exclusively report.

Writer-director Damien Leone is currently wrapping production on the highly-anticipated sequel, in which Art the Clown unleashes chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.

“I’ve been holding this secret for a long time!” Roebuck tells Bloody Disgusting. “I’ve been really excited about it. I’m actually entering into the movies that I watch. It’s extraordinary. This is Terrifier bigger, badder, best.”

Roebuck appears in Terrifier 3 alongside returning cast members David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullam, and AEW superstar Chris Jericho.

No stranger to iconic horror properties, Roebuck has squared off against Michael Myers in Rob Zombie’s Halloween II, played The Count in Zombie’s The Munsters, succumbed to The Tall Man’s sphere in Phantasm: Ravager, and investigated death in Final Destination.

A distinguished character actor with over 250 credits, Roebuck has also appeared in The Devil’s Rejects, 3 from Hell, Bubba Ho-Tep, John Dies at the End, The Fugitive, Lost, Agent Cody Banks, and The Man in the High Castle. Incidentally, he’s also playing Santa in the family drama Saint Nick of Bethlehem, due out later this year.

Terrifier 3 will be released in theaters nationwide later this year via Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting in conjunction with our partner on Terrifier 2, Iconic Events Releasing.

Terrifier 3 comes courtesy of Dark Age Cinema Productions. Phil Falcone Produces with Lisa Falcone acting as Executive Producer.
