[Black Friday] Walmart Has Over 150 Movies on Sale for Between $5.96 and $12.96

Published

We’ve been taking a look at some of this week’s Black Friday deals in recent days here on Bloody Disgusting, with sales taking place, as always, at Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.

Of course, Walmart is also getting in on the Black Friday fun this year, with over 150 select movie titles on sale in batches priced at $5.96, $7.96, $9.96, and $12.96.

Walmart’s Black Friday ad lists Mortal Kombat (2021), Godzilla vs. Kong and A Quiet Place Part II on DVD for $5.96 each, with the Godzilla vs. Kong Blu-ray on sale for $9.96. There’s not a whole lot pictured in the ad and the sale prices aren’t yet reflected on Walmart’s website so it’s hard to tell what else is on sale, but we can be pretty sure more horror titles are in the mix.

From what we gather, all sales will go into effect in stores early Friday morning, while some select sales are now available for you to take advantage of online as of this past Monday night.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.

If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
