  • Horror movies that you wanted sequels to

What stand alone movies or franchises ( NOES, Friday the 13th, etc. ) did you want to see one or more sequels to?

Mine would have to be the Friday The 13th movies and the Phantasm movies. Jason was an entertaining character to watch and even though he has had 12 movies I still think there should be more. Phantasm because the fourth one ends on a cliffhanger.

They need another SAW sequel. Not another series, just one more to fix the damage they did with SAW 3D.
BTW, if I see anymore F13s or Phantasms, then , heh,

          Pretty much this really.

Would like another entry in the 28 ___ Later series too.

Wasn't there a 28 Months in talks at some point? I wouldn't mind seeing another film come out of that series.

A more Carpenter-esque Halloween (IE the opposite of what Zombie did)

Evil Dead 4 for damn sure

An "Englund" Nightmare on Elm St. sequel

A Child's Play that continues Chucky's hunt for Andy. I hated how he just all of a sudden forgot about him in Bride of Chucky.

And a Pumpkinhead sequel that isn't total crap.

Right, 'cause the world is just buzzing about this 4th entry to an already tired franchise. I can't seem to go anywhere without hearing about Jurassic World. It's the next Hunger Games.

$30 - $40 million opening weekend if they're lucky, and then out of existence it will quickly go. Count on it.

Even though you have to take it with a grain of salt, from the Wikipedia page for 28 Weeks Later: In October 2010, when Alex Garland was asked what was happening with 28 Months Later, he declared: "I'll answer that completely honestly. When we made 28 Days Later, the rights were frozen between a group of people who are no longer talking to each other. And so, the film is never going to happen unless those people start talking to each other again. There is no script as far as I'm aware"

That's a shame, I didn't even know about this situation. Maybe I shouldn't believe everything IMDB tells me lol.

Whoever this group is needs to kiss and make up already, this series is one of my favorites and if they just made one more I'd be fine with that.

Rosemary's Baby - I know there was a terrible made-for-TV sequel, but Ira Levin wrote a sequel novel in the 90's entitled Son of Rosemary that was quite a great read aside from the third act. I firmly believe that if Polanski picked this up around the time he did The Ninth Gate, he could've enlisted Mia Farrow and made a great sequel. He'd have to rework the third act big time, though.

I have no idea how it could be a sequel to this movie, but I definitely love to see it, long as it is the same team who worked on the first and of course with the same actors.

It would be cool to see a sequel to Natural Born Killers. Just to see where Mickey and Mallory are at this piont in their lives.

As long as a stand alone is okay I know it isn't very popular but I would love to see a prequel to Dead Girl.

I would also pay to see a Freddy vs Jason 2.
