Well of course Saw 4 was gorier than Wolf Creek but you cant say WC didnt have much gore either.

Perhaps I appreciate Wolf Creek more in the fact none of the gore was cgi like so many newer films have.

What they did show was enough and the rest was left to your imagination. I guess in todays climate of torture porn and such, using your imagination just doesn't cut it.

Loved the first film so would happily line up for a sequel.
I never understood the "leave it to the audience's imagination" ideal in horror. It's cinema for Christ's sake, not a book. SHOW THE KILLS!

I wouldn't mind a sequel as well, but at least make it scarier. The blood and gore are just a bonus, but the story has to be good because nowadays the plots to most horror movies are so overused and downright stupid. That's why I like "The Thing" and "Halloween", those are the classics that had good characters, good dialogue and were just fun to watch.

Halloween had good dialog? Sam had some good lines, but...

I think the Saw series has some great horror dialog.

Yeah, better than some of the other horror dialogue that's out there now. Jigsaw has the best lines obviously, I just hope the Saw movies to get better, the first one was the best, the second was good, the third was all right, and then they got worse. I hated that they killed Det. Matthews because I was hoping he'd stick around for more movies, and what happened to Dr. Gordon? I mean, if he is dead, say so because I'd like him back as well, even in a flashback would be cool. I'm just glad Amanda's dead because she was so annoying.

Yeah but the difference is is that the Saw movies are awful and are made for and marketed to teens with no brains.

Two of horrors greatest films, the original Halloween and TCM had little or no gore and look at the effect of those two films.

LOL, well I'm no brainless teen but I like the Saw movies (well, the first one) and then after that the appeal went downward. I do prefer the classics of course over anything new that comes out, although I am interested in "Thirst"..........has anyone seen it?

That's one of the reasons I prefer the TCM remake and at least three of the Halloween sequels. Nevertheless, I do appreciate the originals.

Well, i kinda liked the first one, though i found it quite borring in the beggining. Anyway, i expect the sequel to have more action and to be a little more scary.

The original was a run-of-the-mill serial killer flick. How are they going to stretch this garbage into a sequel?

They should let this one go,leave it alone.
