I thought there was a thread about this movie but since there isn't one I made one. I saw this when I was browsing around for movies I read the synopsis and it sounded interesting. I checked out the trailer and it looked pretty good. I even got to see the first eight minutes of the film now I’m really looking forward to watching it. Has anyone seen this and if you did what did you think about it?

Synopsis: Jiney (Race Wong) is an art and photography major. Coming from a wealthy family, with good looks and a promising career to boot, Jiney seems to has it all. Colleagues would say that she’s hard on herself when she tells them that she’s never pleased with any of the photos she takes, despite winning numerous awards for them even when she’s still an undergrad. But her life soon takes a tragic turn when she witnesses a car accident where a pedestrian was accidentally killed. At first, Jin is shocked, but she has the strangest urge to photograph the event and the death. Once the photos are developed, Jin finally sees the pictures and has a sensation she has never felt before with any of the photos she has taken. Instead of focusing on landscapes and buildings, she now finds tragic deaths and unfortunate events to capture. She starts off with painting pictures and adding blood and gore, then moves to live animals, but soon she runs out of things to capture and Jiney begins to fight the urge of taking matters into her own hands by “helping” people meet their fate a little sooner. Before she could do so, however, Jiney receives a mysterious videotape sent to her, where a victim is captured and tortured alive. Apparently, she’s not the only demented person in the world trying to capture death in their art. But who could it be and who else knows about her obsession with death?

Shallow, noisy and idiotic. If you like nonsense like SAW then you might get something out of this apart from staring at cute Asian babes for a few hours.

And two real-life sisters play lesbian lovers. But don't get too excited about that idea. This is Hong Kong, and they've always been very prudish in their films.

This movie was surprisingly good considering I'm no fan of the Pang Brothers.

The trailer made it seem mildly interesting. I doubt I'll be watching it any time soon though. I'm glad I looked for in on youtube b/c now I have thirteen other trailers of asian horror films to watch on my quicklist. Theres almost nothing I like to do better.

Okay, i'm a huge fan of Asian Horror, and I have to say that this is one of the best Asian Horrors ive seen. It fucks you up. If you fall for the film like I did, then you'll love it.

Personally, I don't think a film has affected me as much as this film has... (not scary, just made me feel sad).

I really liked this one! I love how it crosses the line betwen art and sadism. It really gets into the protaganists obsessive head and has a surprising plot twist 3/4 through! It's very Asian. (Which is great!)
