  • Harry, He's Here To Help (2000)

Harry knew Michel in high school; they meet again by accident, Harry inserts himself in Michel's life... and things take a sinister turn...

Dominik Moll's film stars Laurent Lucas who was incredible in Calvaire as the ill-fated Marc Stevens, and was also very good in the underrated, Lemming.

Has anyone seen this film? I've always fancied it and have finally bought it. I plan on watching it soon and am looking forward to it. It's been compared to a Hitchcock thriller, which sounds promising.

I finally saw this last night and am pleased to say that it's a fantastic thriller.

The acting is superb and the atmosphere is just perfect. There's something extremely creepy about Harry and you just can't quite put your finger on it until his first shocking act!

The film is absorbing and beautifully written. It makes you feel immersed in Michel's life. It's also surprisingly funny, but in a dark and awkward way, which I loved.

It's a brilliant thriller, and very much like Hitchcock. I'd highly recommend it.
