  • When Animals Dream

Marie is a 17-year-old girl living in a small village. She and her father take care of her sick mother, who is in a wheelchair, mentally absent from heavy medicines. One day patches of hair start appearing on Marie’s body and soon she discovers that she is suffering from the same illness as her mother. While Marie is trying to experience normal teenage life, she also tries to uncover the mystery of her disease. The community starts to turn against Marie and her family, and she senses that the animal inside of her is starting to take over...

Same here. LTROI was wonderful so I wouldn't be disappointed in the least if they are similar in that regard.

No, but I think that's where the comparisons stop. I haven't seen it yet but it will need to be excellent to be up there with LTROI.
