LOVE the Creepshow, both of them.

I also have seen most if not all of Tales from the Darkside, more of Romero's work. Creepshow reminds me of that, but of course much scarier.

I love the first movie. Very tales form the crypt! The second one wasn't as good, but still enjoyable. Especially the Raft.

I was wondering what you guys thought of Two Evil Eyes? It's a sort of similar vehicle where Romero directs one story and Argento directs the other. There are only two though.

I also wondered whether anyone has seen the third Creepshow that was just released? Is it even worth checking out? Or is it another step down?

The third creepshow film is absolutely terrible. It has no relation to the others outside of title. It is easily one of the worst "films" I have ever seen. Everything about it is a failure. It's amusing to see the extras on the dvd, when one of the actors I think says he thinks it's the best of the three. Apparently there were a lot of drugs being used on that set.
I feel like the baroness in "The Sound of Music". Everyone is off climbing an Alp and I want to shove a guitar up that nun's ass.

Good looking out! It's always tempting to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I think I'll give it a miss then

'Quirky' is a good word for this movie, which is one of the reasons why I like it.

I just recently ran across that title while browsing on-line. I wondered if it was any good.

I have fond memories of the first two, though. I was fairly young when the first one came out, and, living only a few minutes away from Lake Michigan, was genuinely creeped out by the Leslie Nielson story in particular.

It's too bad if the third one is as bad as you say. I was hoping that someone had actually gone to the trouble to use some more of King's short stories...could've been a successful franchise.

There are so many cool stories in Skeleton Crew in particular, I had hoped to see a few more of those make it to the screen.

It's a classic. You just saw it for the first time? I'm sure it seems quirky in the year 2007 when the film came out in 1982. Time is a factor with movies, but you should finish the rest of the movie and check out the second one. Fun films.

It was far too quirky for me to consider it straight up horror, but it had something about it that made me really enjoy it. Who knows.

You guys' thoughts on the film? And is Creepshow 2 worth checking out?
It's pretty cool, but I think it's overrated, it's really not all it's cut up to be.

As well you should be. Not only does he hit it outta the park with the rest of the segments, but "They're Creeping Up On You" is an incredible 25 or so minutes of showmanship from George. I rank Creepshow just behind the Dead trilogy and Martin as for as Romero's shit is concerned.
