I'm not quite sure what you mean. Explain? Thank you (and who) for what?

I've been on other forums where they have a button where you can thank a person for their post instead of posting a "thank you" like taking up a whole post just to say thank you kind of thing.

I was somewhat saying thank you in regards to your post...the 80's were also my fave. decade in horror.

A "Thank You" button would be amazing.

Also, holy shit this movie is amazing.

              Can't wait until the remake.

Eh, I would say Slashers, but the best decade for horror is a debate that will never end.

I LOVED this movie! In my opinion, it was scary as hell not knowing who the alien was.

Don't think its "possibly" the best horror film ever. I do think its one of the more underrated films out there despite how many people recognize it as being a great horror film.

Such an outstanding horror film by John Carpenter.

Honestly, as much as I love Halloween (197, I have to say that The Thing is decidedly my favourite film out of Carpenter's filmography.

Gotta give props to this movie. It is my favorite horror film after all...well honestly I have a hard time choosing between this and Dawn of the Dead, but considering Dawn has alot of Action Movie elements to it, I'd say it's more of a horror-action flick, whereas The Thing is pure horror.

I'm looking forward to the prequel, since it's supposedly the events of the Norwegian Campsite rather than some lame cash-in remake. I just hope they don't have heavy CGI use. The practical effects in this film are one of the best things about it.

Right, 'cause the world is just buzzing about this 4th entry to an already tired franchise. I can't seem to go anywhere without hearing about Jurassic World. It's the next Hunger Games.

$30 - $40 million opening weekend if they're lucky, and then out of existence it will quickly go. Count on it.

After Braindead, this is easily my second favorite horror film. The scene with the dog is sick, but awesome to watch.
