I'd much rather watch him take his time and build a skyscraper rather than him rush it and build a shack.

      He's done a few I didn't like. I despised "Crash" and "Spider".

Crash was something I didnt really like when it came out...but I became a fan of the book and Ballard's other work later on and I came to appreciate it more. He's also one of the few directors that is kindof elusive yet still appears in tv shows and movies...which always kinda threw me off...

Speaking of the fly, this boxed set is due in May:

I'm not sure whether these are the special editions of The Fly 1&2, I'll need to check that out.

They should have made the packaging a replica of a teleportation chamber, bit of a missed opportunity there.

The news about another remake of the Fly is a bit off-putting. While they're at it they may as well remake all the films that came out this year.

A remake of the fly will no doubt be full of CGI and will be utter crap, the Goldblum version rules

So you were being sarcastic when you responded to my question of what book with that?

Oh, haven't seen this in years, probably since it came out on video. Truly a great flick, I'll have to put that on my Netflix list (where it'll be somewhere around #75 or so, so I'll see it in a couple years, LOL)

I'd not even call this a remake, it has so little in common with the Vincent Price one (which I like too, for all it's goofyness. And it has Vincent Price in it)

                                #2 was truly garbage.

Cronenberg is hit or miss with me, same with David Lynch. Some are great, some go totally past me.

I'll definitely have to see this one again soon!
