Redneck Zombies, Toxic Avenger, Terror Fimer were some of their better ones. Some Troma movies were decent, some were terrible. But it gives hope to independent film-makers alike, thats their main objective in my opinion. Plus some had great gore f/x, not so much plot line though
Honestly, I've never understood the allure of Troma. The Toxic Avenger and Blood Hook (I think that's Troma) are the only films of their's that I own and probably the only one's that I've seen. I just don't get it.
God, I love Troma films. I just had a Troma-fest the other day. My faves are:
Toxic Avenger I-IV
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead
Class of Nuk 'em High
Tromeo and Juliet
Cannibal! The Musical
Surf Nazis Must Die
I think most people that don't like these films don't realize that they are intentionally made this way. I know several people who were really expecting some serious movies from Troma, and that is a big mistake to make.
