‘Ghoster’ Trailer – Lionsgate’s Supernatural Adventure Feels Like an Unofficial ‘Casper’ Reboot

Coming soon from Lionsgate is the family-friendly supernatural adventure movie Ghoster, a shameless Casper knockoff that aims to entertain kids this coming Halloween season.

Ghoster will be available on Digital, On Demand and DVD October 11.

In the film, “Enter an enchanted, ghostly world with this captivating family adventure. Elizabeth and her father inherit a nearby estate — but find it haunted by a kindly young phantom named Ghoster. He begs for Elizabeth’s help undoing an ancient dragon’s curse that has trapped him in the manor.

“Joined by the caretaker’s handsome son Mateo, they must enter a magical painting and solve dangerous puzzles to undo the hex and free the trapped souls of Ghoster’s ancestors. It’s so much fun, it’s almost scary!”

Sophie Proctor, J.R. Brown, Josh Escayg, Rachel G. Whittle, and David Henrie star.

‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Prequel ‘Furiosa’ Rated “R” for “Strong Violence” and “Grisly Images”

Anya Taylor-Joy fights the world in George Miller’s hotly anticipated Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the upcoming prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road that’s coming next month.

Warner Bros.’ Furiosa has been rated “R” this week for…

“Sequences of strong violence, and grisly images.”

Furiosa will release in theaters on May 24, 2024. The film will tell the origin story of the character Charlize Theron made famous in Fury Road, also directed by George Miller.

“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by the Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”

Chris Hemsworth co-stars as Warlord Dementus.

“Whereas Fury Road essentially happened over three days and two nights, this happens over many years,” Miller had teased during a press conference last year.

Miller is co-writing and directing the movie for Warner Bros.

Back in 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road grossed nearly $400 million worldwide at the box office and won SIX Oscars, while also scoring rave reviews nearly across the entire board.

Last we heard, Miller also intends on making sequels centered on Tom Hardy‘s Mad Max.
