    • What kind of a fucking parent brings their 6 year old child, to a hard rated R movie? With the amount of F-bombs, propositions for oral sex, and blood guts and gore, i'd be surprised if this little girl isn't traumatized. Bad parenting at it's finest, people.

The cast/characters range from mediocre to alright. I didnt like the story change between the brother(David) and sister(Mia) and the change in the sole surivivor at the end. All that violence and possession with "Mia", only to have her survive? Bullshit!! That change from the original does not gel with me. The music score is good for the most part, but they could have done without that annoying fire engine siren sound that occurred in the last 15 to 20 minutes of the film. The direction is good and makeup effects are also pretty solid.

        6.5/10
there always has to be a female survivor. its the rule.

If we suddenly fall should I scream out
Or keep very quiet and cling to my mouth as I’m crying
            So frightened of dying
            Relax, yes, I’m trying
But fear's got a hold on me

I think Nightmare Warrior is still hung up over the "supposed rules of horror" that were established in the film, The Cabin In The Woods.

Seriously Nightmare Warrior.... enough. I mean we totally get that you flick the bean to thoughts of that movie, but you're starting to make some of us really sick.... stop it.

Just some shitty example of a mother I saw at the theater here in Miami. A complete stranger.

The only reason I even saw the original Evil Dead when I was 7, was because my teenage sister was babysitting me. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, but it blew my mind. I had nightmares for several months. Needless to say, my older sister was never allowed to look after me again.

There was a 10 or 11 year old kid with his dad at the showing I went to... they left like 20 minutes in haha

Also, the lights came on in the theater about 20 minutes before the movie started and the manager checked everybody to make sure we actually had tickets. Turns out some kids bought tickets to a different movie and snuck in to Evil Dead. We all laughed hysterically as they were escorted out of the theater in front of everybody.

Why was the kid aloud in?

I got my old man to buy me tickets for the My Bloody Valentine remake back in the day. As I was under 18. He bought them for me in the morning, and it was for an arvo showing. I was the ONLY person in there and I was kicked out within a minute of it starting.

I was refunded, and luckily really, because it's a load of shit. Glad I didn't see it in theatres now.

I have no idea why. It's an AMC theater in a mall located in a nice part of Miami. I have seen that they have a habit of letting parents bring their babies to horror movies, so I guess to them a 6 year old can still come in as long as they're accompanied by a parent.

Call it what you will, but I just see it as them being lazy and having really shitty policies. If they do have any policies to prevent this kind of shit from happening, they sure as hell don't enforce them.

That's crazy. I wasn't even allowed to see an R rated movie when I was 17 (legal age here being 1 with my mum. Here, you MUST be of age or you just aren't allowed in at all. No exceptions.

You people be crazy. No wonder some people grow up thinking it's OK to go all Rambo at school.
