You could be right about that. I bet when comes to casting for the movie, they'll pick the Twilight bunch:

He said, "hit gold," not, "hit a septic line and get shit spewed in my face".

Couldn't have said it better myself. Highly against this remake.

I've realized remakes are most likely going to happen, so I'm getting over getting mad when they remake a good one. We'll see what happens with this.

I've never been that big on Fright Night. I prefered the trashtastic sequel.

Shit, I so see this happening its not even funny.
As disrespectful as it is to shit on a classic vampire movie like this by remaking it, it will only make me cherish the original all the more.

But who would play successor to Roddy McDowell? I want Gary Busey!

No matter how good or bad the remake turns out to be, at least there's still the original. Thus, I don't care.

Okay, I'll settle for Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

@ Gary Busey. Peter Vincent is now a drug ravaged crazed vampire killer. That i'd like to see.

Gary Busey would be fun, tho a bit hard to see him as a late night horror host.
I met her, fifteen years ago; I was told there was nothing left; no reason, no conscience, no understanding; and not even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, of good or evil, right or wrong. I met this cow, with this blank, pale, emotionless face, and the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach her, and then another seven trying to keep her locked up because I realized that what was living behind that cow's eyes was purely and simply... evil.

I don't think it'd be hard. The last time I saw the guy he looked like he'd been up for a coupla days straight and looked like a perfect candidate. Kinda had a zombie feel going on.

Hmm, well, I was thinking a vampire/vamp hunter stitck(sp). So no suprise not picturing Busey doing that, but as a zombie, Frankenstein Monster or Mad Scientest sort of host... that could be golden.

Tho also he should have been a former B-movie star, kinda hard picturing a reoccuring role as a zombie (but big deal really) maybe even make him the former action hero who always played a space opera hero like Flash Gordon or something. Yeah, lots of fun for sure. Would be cool to have him on board.

Tho I don't think Regina in part 2 was ever a actress when she replaced Vincent, so plenty of room to do something with Busey as Vincent. Has there even been any rumors of Busey, or was it just Gabriel wishing outloud?

The ONLY good thing that might come of this movie is a special edition of the original Fright Night and hopefully a better DVD re-release for part 2.

Well it actually sounded like "Agh wmmph Pppfairey Gousley!"

But that was outloud, mid ham and peanut butter sandwich. Typed it came out a little more like "I want Gary Busey!"

I doubt there's an even an inkblot in Hollywood that wants to truthfully hire Garey Busey ever again. Only Charles Band is smaller than a paper smear.
