    You're a badass!

This looks alright, but also looks like that stupid puppet movie he did, not too long ago. I'll wait for some reviews.

        Yea, Dead Silence was horrid.

Can't quite understand why a (promising looking) horror movie like Insidious has to be "R" in order to be accepted as a proper genre flick. Why don't give it a try anyway? That's kind of prejudiced claiming that PG13-horror is shitty...

            lmao!

I only saw a minute teaser trailer about a month ago, and actually saw the full preview this morning, because I don't watch a lot of tv. It looked promising, but at the end of the preview I heard PG13 and it totally turned me off. lol!

Seeing Red Riding Hood killed all future viewings of PG13 horror; thinking it was going to be a dark and grim version, and also because Gary Oldman was in it, I thought it was going to be good. I was sorely disappointed.

Well, in all fairness, you really should've seen the "Twilight-ness" in RRH coming a mile away.

Poltergeist was PG. Don't count a flick out, just because of it's rating.

I have to agree. Actually, it amazes me that someone DIDN'T pick up on that vibe. LOL!

Hey, I didn't know going into the movie it was going to be twilightish. I went in only from what I saw, and didn't bother reading up on reviews cuz I wanted to form my own opinion. That glossiness of the film made me think more fairytale type backgrounds. I wasn't even thinking twilight.

I'm looking forward to watching this one. The trailers look good and it sounds a bit like Poltergeist and The Entity. The cast is decent too. I actually fell asleep whilst watching Dead Silence though so it better be an improvement!

I just can't get excited for this one.

Someone on the first page said the director is comparing it to The Sixth Sense and The Others, didn't both of those have the "this person who you thought was alive is actually dead!" ending? If this movie has that played out "twist" I'll be pissed when and if I see it.

This film looks much darker than Red Riding Hood, I don't see how you can compare the two, except for maybe the PG-13 rating.

So the trailers for this look really good, surprisingly. Wish they hadn't have showed the creature in the most recent one, but I'll still see it.

Obviously they're two different stories, so you can't compare the two. I'm saying with the direction horror has taken lately with crap films and they're pg13 ratings, its not worth dishing out $10 at the theatres. Id rather wait til the dvd comes out.

Poltergeist and Gremlins are PG-13 and under. Rating means nothing in the grand scheme of quality.

We're not saying it's impossible for a PG-13 rated movie to be good, it's just that track record proves that for the most part, PG-13 rated horror movies suck ass.
