Diamond Select Brings “The Real Ghostbusters” Back to the Toy Shelf!

Previewed at Toy Fair earlier this year, Diamond Select Toys has officially unveiled their upcoming line of brand new action figures based on beloved animated series “The Real Ghostbusters,“ and what better timing than today? After all, today is Ghostbusters Day, a celebration of the original film’s release date!

Via Figures.com, DST’s first batch of “The Real Ghostbusters” figures go up for pre-order on June 20, and they’re expected to arrive in Late 2018. The Series 9 assortment includes the cartoon series versions of Winston, Egon and Slimer (with support stand and three different faces!), with Series 10 including Peter, Ray and Stay Puft.

Each figure includes pieces to help you build a firehouse diorama!

On Friday, April 26th at 9am PT, Mattel Creations, Mattel’s e-commerce and content platform for creators, collaborations, and innovators, will be releasing the newest Monster High Skullector doll, Creature From the Black Lagoon!

In partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, Monster High is reimagining the iconic creature who lies in the mysterious depths of the Amazon just in time for the 70th anniversary of the classic film. The prehistoric amphibious humanoid dazzles in Monster High fashion with glimmering green gills, shimmering scales, and killer harpoon heels.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon Monster High doll features…

  • 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation
  • New face sculpt (made specifically for this doll) on original scaly body with fin and gill details
  • Wears a scaly swimsuit with pearlescent amphibious body armor
  • Accessorized with anchor-accented fin headpiece and webbed harpoon heel boots
  • Includes custom lagoon-inspired doll stand and premium packaging

On sale to the public beginning April 26, the limited edition doll will be selling for $65. These Monster High “Skullector” dolls never last long, so be sure to act fast this coming Friday!
