Lovely Molly follows newlyweds Molly and Tim as they move into Molly's childhood home after the passing of her father. Due to Tim's job as a truck driver, Molly, a recovering heroin addict, is frequently left by herself for long stretches of time. As her stay at the house lengthens, Molly is tormented by painful childhood memories that may or may not be driven by supernatural forces.
I watched this last night and admittedly I was disappointed at first, but holy hell this movie will not leave my head.
This is the kind of horror flick that slowly gets under your skin and it stays there.
It's not perfect, but it's undoubtedly a nasty and unsettling little horror gem.
8/10. (I may sneak it up to a 9 upon further viewings.)
