Only info I could find(may include spoilers)

Reeker is the latest supernatural indie slasher thats been getting a lot of fairly positive buzz lately from those who've had the privilege of viewing it. I for-one really enjoyed the flick, and if it weren't for the clichéd climax, I probably would have given it a higher rating. Although the movie's premise isn't the greatest, it's the vicious (and smelly) antagonist that steals the show. Somehow the film manages to slap all these mainstream remakes and sequels in the face and deliver an interesting and original new horror icon. Is that the stench of death I smell? Perhaps. As the movie progresses we see more and more of this assailant that's terrorizing these young party-goers. Despite its semi low-budget, the movie can easily pass itself off as your standard theatrical genre release. When it comes to gore, it spares no expense -- a nice drilling through the gut is one example.

Surprisingly it's not just the villain, but the interesting cast of characters, which make the film all-the-more entertaining. Mixed in the usual group of young boozers, druggies, and sluts, we have a blind guy, whom adds to some thrilling situations. Michael Ironside has a cameo performance as a man in search for his missing wife, and Eric Mabius plays a drug dealer, whose hunting down someone from the group after they stole some of his drugs. Yes, the movie is your typical fun and entertaining B-horror flick, mixed with a cast of familiar young faces, and an interesting villain for added flavor. It's too bad the film hasn't secured proper distribution in the US yet. Whether it goes to theaters or straight-to-DVD, it's sure to be a fun ride for genre fans, with its predictable, half-assed ending as its only real flaw.

The movie somehow manages to not only pull off an interesting and entertaining watch, but even adds a semi-original villain in the mix. If you're looking for something fun then be sure to add this to your list of flicks to see. Be warned of the clichéd ending though.
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tryanny of the evil men.Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepards the weak through the valley of darkness. For he is truly his brother`s keeper and the finder of lost childern, and I will strike down upon thee with great vengenance and furious anger who attempts to posion and destroy my brothers. You will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengenance upon thee.

im sorry but Reeker really pissed me off. I typed out a full page of negativity, ripping the movie a new asshole, but i dont want to be a hater. Ill bet money on the reason that the movie took so long to come out is because of how similiar the ending is to Dead End. that isnt what im pissed off about though, im mostly pissed off at how half-assed and lackluster the movie turned out to be.

as always, i wont start a fight about how awesome my movie is going to be when i get the same budget, if not less. but after i do, and my movies rock, im comin back swingin.

Well, I just finished watching this film and yes it was a fun flick. I kept asking myself "Is this a supernatural or a slasher or some infection flick!?" and well is a mix of the 1st two. The film reminded me a lot of "Identity" and "Dead End" which both are very underrated horror films that I love.
The cast was ok and kept the movie enjoyable. Most of them are familiar faces.

The film feels fresh but is actually not so original. It's low on scare, good on entertainment and the black humor. I really liked the villain of the film which is some sort of Grim Reaper that actually looked odd but sadly barely appears.

The conclusion of the film was very predictable and all of you who see it will get a feeling of deja vu. I'm sure some of you won't like it. Just don't get your hopes to high for this one.

Afterall, Reeker was well worth the time. I wonder why the hell SHOWTIME cancelled the dvd release for this back in October. Ah, well atleast I caught a copy of it.

Opened in the cinema here about 6 months ago..

It was entertaining but nothing too special.
