‘Resident Evil 3’ Board Game Announced, Kickstarter Begins April 28th

Published

on

Much like its predecessor, Steamforged Games has announced a Kickstarter campaign for a board game inspired by Resident Evil 3. The campaign for Resident Evil 3: The Board Game will begin on April 28, and will bring back the same team that did Resident Evil 2: The Board Game.

According to Steamforged, the game will adapt the original 1999 version (not the remake), and will be playable for up to four players. The game will allow players to either dive into “a 19+ hour campaign with an overarching storyline,” or players can take on smaller games in “individual, one-shot scenarios.” RE3‘s core protagonists, Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira, will be playable alongside other characters as they seek to escape Nemesis under the pressure of the T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City.

Of course, there’s an incentive: If the campaign gets 2,500 followers before its launch, a miniature of Jill Valentine in biker gear will be added to the game.
