The supplements are amazing, as in any Criterion disk. My favorite is an interview with Fritz Lang, by William Friedkin(sp).

    10/10. Outstanding.
Oh my, I'm extremely jealous. I want M so bad. Amazing pickup.

Amazon has it for around $35. I'd grab it before it goes the way of The Third Man, and is out of print before you know it.

I'll say this, it's very clear Criterion LOVES Blu Ray.

So, what brings you back to the blu side? Django? It's Django, right?
I tested some one the big TV downstairs and can see the difference. My TV is only 26' so that may have been why it made no difference.

          It certainly was, man.

Don't go blu, if you don't want but don't make it seem like its this crazy expensive thing when I haven't spent more than $15 on a new sealed blu in months. And more than half of my collection of blus was purchased for under $10 each. Deals aren't hard to find.
And not even to mention that you can get Blus at a lower price than DVDs at times.
I got Pandorum on blu for 9.99. It was twice that on DVD.
Repulsion from Criterion was about $10 less on blu. Yojimbo/Sanjuro the same.
And that, of course is ignoring the fact that blu is more than a "bit better" in quality than DVD.

I agree. I have even found new releases for the same price as the DVD. I will say though I am not a huge fan of the small cases but I can get over it.

I was at Wal-Mart today and they had an entire section of $15 Blus with the DVD wrapped with it! Which really doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but shit....at least you get a back-up copy? Or, you can even sell the DVD and get a little money back in return?

I haven't had time to watch it yet, but I'll definitely let you know. I found it for $10, so I figured it was practically cheaper than the DVD so it was worth it.

Got that a few days ago. Got a couple more from arrow on the way including the COTLD blu. Great price, and with the value of the pound sinking fast, it's even better

Yeah, the pound's pretty shitty at the moment - which has meant me having to put my hardbox buying on hold.

COTLD should be dispatching today, so hopefully I should receive it over the weekend. Amazon dropped the price of the Blu to 12.99 too, which was nice.

I think Inferno will be the next Blu from Arrow - no release date as yet though.
