Junji Ito-Inspired ‘World of Horror’ Receives New Content With Latest Patch
Fans of panstasz and publisher Ysbryd Games’ throwback RPG text adventure World of Horror received an early Christmas present today with a new update for the game, which adds two new characters, a new CHALLENGES mode, and two new endings.
The main content for the update introduces “a truly cursed WITCH and the EX-CULTIST on the run”, which now brings the total number of characters you can play as to eleven. The update also introduces “character-exclusive events” to further flesh out backstories and their role in the story.
There’s also the CHALLENGES mode, which puts players in “pre-selected playthroughs”, with each having unique gameplay mechanics. In addition, for those who were frustrated with saves being disabled with the previous update, they’ve now been re-enabled.
You can grab World of Horror on Steam. And check out our review from a few years back if you need further convincing.
