finished Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk yesterday. this was the third book I've read of his. the other two being Choke and Lullaby. definetely an intriguing read. it seemed to steam roll as it went, getting more interesting. and seemingly lost some focus towards the end. a lot of double entundra, theory and meaning there. it's a strong story about faith and how fucked up religions can be as nothing more than money making machines using God as they're catalyst. a worthy read.

Roman Political Ideas and Practice...dry but educational. It's very strange how similar the US is to Rome these days.

Read Artemis Fowl: Eternity Code. I don't care how old you are, these are damn fun books. Harry Potter can suck my dick as far as Artemis Fowl goes.

Now I'm reading Freaky Deaky by Elmore Leonard.

Finished Artemis Fowl: The Artic Incident. Not as good as the 3rd book, but still a really enjoyable read.

I'm almost done with Freaky Deaky.

And I'm not even 1/4 into The Gunslinger.
