    Also, Watchmen is fantastic as is Maus.

    When it comes to some of the more "classic superhero" stuff I've always loved The Amazing Spider-Man.

    I'm not a super well versed comic book fan but I've read quite a bit and it's something I'm trying to do more of recently.
    Watchmen is initially got me interested in this in the first place. Ashamed to admit that the ones I mentioned above are the only ones I've read.

    Will check out Maus and Sweet Tooth. Also have The Walking Dead on tap.

    Put "2 Fast 2 Furious" in B&W and Se7en thinks he's watching a Bergman film.
    I find the Metal Gear Solid series to be mediocre at best.

    • I haven't read that many comic books but after doing some research of whats highly regarded I bought these;

      Violent Cases
      Maus
      Criminal - Coward

      Have only read Violent Cases so far but liked it.

      The only other comics I've read and own are;

      The Crow (had it since I was a kid and read it tonnes of times, love it)
      Preacher 1-6 (brilliant!)
      Scalped: Indian Country (digged this and bought Casino Boogie to read)

        • Just read an article talking about 14 DC titles being cancelled in the Q1 2015. Three of them are shitty titles that I continue reading only because they crossover with two of my fave books. Woo hoo! $9 saved on comics each month starting soon!

            Here is a great list of graphic novels:

            It's a few years old but classics only get better over time

              If we suddenly fall should I scream out
              Or keep very quiet and cling to my mouth as I’m crying
              So frightened of dying
              Relax, yes, I’m trying
              But fear's got a hold on me

              • Been a while since I have bought any ongoing, monthly comic titles but as of next week, well...

                And February sees the release of the DARTH VADER series too!

                  • As an observer and a one-time fan who was knee-deep in Marvel & DC comics on a monthly basis, I'm sad and completely baffled as to what the two publishers are up to these days...! 'Convergence'? and this new 'Secret Wars'...? 'Combining Universes' and all that bollocks... It's all too much, man.
