update: Sega announced that this game will be out Q1 of 2009 (fiscal year), so it should be out sometime between March and June.
While I'm happy that it's finally coming out, the fact that it wasn't shown at E3 gets me kind of worried as to the game's quality. Feels like a rush job.

I remember there also being an Alien Resurrection game on PS1.
I owned it, and it was promising but was bugged and very hard to play at times. Face Huggers could appear out of nowhere and once one attached, you were implanted and had to find a extraction device in a short space of time before you was killed. In essence, a one hit kill made worse by the fact that aiming was poor and the 'huggers were hard to shoot. Alien Resurrection could have been the definitive Alien experience back then.
On the other hand, Alien Trilogy was awful, I dont care what anyone says.
