          • I just started on Heavy Rain. Every time I pick it up, I just cannot put it down. Everything about this game is well-done, from the graphics, to the script and the storyline. I'd rate it at 10/10. This is a seriously involving game, with some odd moments that really get you more immersed.

            • Skyrim - Pretty damn good, but some flaws hold it back. Everything good about this game is already known, so I'll nitpick some of the things that are bothering me.

I've been reading about how this game is "the most accessible" from the Eldar Scrolls franchise. It's a downrght lie. This game is every bit as complicated, and frustrating as every other game in the series. Basically, if you don't know all of the intricate details of a fully-fledged RPG combat system, you will die....a lot. I don't know what it is, but for some reason I can't wrap my head around this franchise's combat syatem. In comparison, I could survive in Fallout 3 with a shitty pistol and some stempacks. In this game, it just seems that if you don't have the best possible weapons and armor, you're fucked.

Also, is there any way to switch weapons and spells on the fly? Everytime I want to switch, I have to pause the game and select everything all over again, or go to my so-called "quick menu". Is there an "alternate weapon/spell" command?

Don't let all this bitching fool you though. It's a great game.

              • Playing through the original Legend Of Zelda on my 3DS, waiting to pick up my copy of Super Mario Land 3D on Tuesday along with Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3.
Recently beat Batman Arkham City, but am still only about 74% done with the game. And had a little bat fest with Batman Begins...So...Clunky.

                Thirty Minutes Of Less: 8/10
Tucker And Dale Vs Evil: 10/10
I Love You Phillip Morris: 7/10
                Friday The 13th Pt. 3: 8/10

                • Super Mario 3d Land finally does the system justice and it was well worth the wait. The developers seemed to have touched upon many aspects of past Mario games and the nostalgia coupled with new elements offers a rather fun play.

i think this is first lego game I was disappointed in. It just feels like the other games, the hub is the same, hogwarts was the same. I know there are a lot of new content, but even with it it just seems kind of boring. Most of the time I would love to destroy the Lego games, but something about this just seemed forced, like they HAD to complete it. Where as lego Pirates was great, this just seemed a step back.

I am sitting around 550 out 1000, but have no interest going back and getting all the stuff. Just don't feel it this time around.

Shame. Ive always had a blast with the LEGO games and expected good things from this since I enjoyed the first LHP game. Im still going to give it a rent down the line once Im a little burned out of MW3 and have finished up AC:R which Im picking up tomorrow. Most likely will be around Christmas before I start up Arkham City.

If you're playing on PC, you can assign numbers to weapons/armor/spells once they're on your favorites menu, just highlight it and press the number. On any other system no idea.

It has the Lego charm, something just did not click this time around. I did like the new spell wheel and how they function. But, you don't get a freaking Dark Magic user till near the end of the game. A lot of the end of the game secrets require a Dark Magic user, so it is kind of a pain in the ass.

                            • I've been playing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and I think the most interesting aspect of the game is that as you grow your army you are starting to lay the foundation of Outer Heaven.
