Incredible “Stranger Things” Promo Suggests 1984 Was a Massive Conspiracy

Published

1984 was a huge conspiracy. The evidence? New Coke, Ghostbusters, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s hit single Relex.

They say conspiracy theorists can string together anything they want in order to sell the connection between two mutually non-exclusive things. There’s always a path to convince people that we never went to the moon or that our water is being poisoned, or even that our weather is being controlled. While sometimes fun, it can also be harmful, especially to those in Hawkins, Indiana.

Netflix just unleashed this absurd promo for the second season “Stranger Things” that’s so over-the-top that it’s hilarious and loads of fun. The stage is set when they reference Will Byers’ abduction in season one and then segue into the pop culture phenomenons that made 1984 such a bizarre year. Everything was flipped upside down…

This is one of my favorite promos ever and I hope it’s included when “Stranger Things” returns to Netflix on October 27.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.

Watch the trailer below to preview this week’s bloody new episode!
